Finally SPS again: New ToolSystem and ECLASS 13 at the AmpereSoft booth

After a two-year break, SPS, the trade fair for industrial automation, is finally back. The AmpereSoft team is well prepared to take part and can hardly wait to exchange information with the trade audience about the most important news and industry trends. Visit the AmpereSoft booth and learn all about the latest ToolSystem features for a smooth engineering process.

Visitors will get exclusive insights into the soon to be released version 2023.1 of the AmpereSoft ToolSystem at booth 116 in hall 6. With numerous innovations, our developers have ensured that our solution meets the current and future requirements of a modern engineering process. Visitors to the trade fair in Nuremberg will be able to see this for themselves. More ease of use, more automation, new interfaces: There is a lot to see.

Automated maintenance of material data

This means, for example, that external sources can now also be linked to the ToolSystem. By connecting any master databases, material data can be corrected and updated automatically and thus without effort.

Also with regard to material ordering, a decisive new feature will be presented at the SPS: Thanks to the added ELBRIDGE interface, project databases can be transferred directly from the Configurator or from MatClass to the wholesalers’ webshops. This noticeably speeds up the ordering process.

The data maintenance of materials from international manufacturers is facilitated by the connection to the translation service Deepl. With its help, product texts can be translated correctly and reliably in the shortest possible time.

And information is also exchanged even better within the new ToolSystem. Data transfer from ProPlan, the CAE system for electrical documentation, to the TemperatureCalculator, which is also part of the ToolSystem, has been greatly optimised: Locations and plant function groups can now be selected to specifically determine for which control cabinet of a plant the heat development is to be calculated. In addition, newly added markings in the TemperatureCalculator provide an overview of the materials for which power loss values are not yet available. The result: greater ease of use, which leads to simpler and faster processes.

ECLASS 13: AmpereSoft shows beta version

In addition to the optimisation of the ToolSystem, we have been involved in the further development and establishment of the product data standard ECLASS Advanced for years. As a member of the ECLASS CRD/CAx working groups, AmpereSoft has also actively supported the development of the upcoming version.

At the SPS, visitors will have the chance to take a look at the update of the uniform data standard even before the new version 13 is published. In conversation with the AmpereSoft employees present, benefits can be discussed, application examples discussed and suggestions for possible further developments exchanged.
